I'm having some issues to get nGene running from the svn. Currently I'm compiling it on vista64 and visual studio 2008.
There are some very weird things happening.
Compiling nGene and the framework in debug or release works without problems but when I run a sample in debug mode I get a "faulting module in ntdll.dll". Yeah, I know. Great error message, it would be enough if he just tells me "erm…error but I can't tell you where" :)
But, if I compile the samples in release mode and use the release files from nGene and the framework the thing runs again without problems with the exception of 2 samples:
- Terrain: Has some bad_alloc errors in the matrix class, at least this tells me the dissassembly. As I'm running in release mode it's difficult to tell. It's happening definately when the terrain/heightmap is loaded
- Lua sample: Release mode works, debug he's telling me that type_info is no element of std (Again, great error :) )
Maybe you can help me out. After looking through some code I really think that this is a great engine and I don't want to give up just yet. :D
